William Peterson Poythress (1810-1862, bd. Henrico Co., VA.) married Charlotte Reed (1825-1897). He was the grandson of William Poythress and Mary Gilliam. William Peterson and Mary Poythress lived their lives in Henrico County. Their children were: William Powhattan (1847-1920) who married Louisa Cambell Mayo (1849-1927), Mary who died as an infant, Patrick Henry (1846-1863), Walter Eppes (1861-1888) who married Marie Josephine Brouse and Sarah Reed (1852-1927) who died unmarried. Marie Josephine Brouse married as her 2nd husband James Chandler Dorst.
